Using Pawsitivet

A lickable treat is a soft, palatable supplement delivered as a squeezable paste from a single-serve sachet. Pets lick it directly from the sachet, off your finger, off a clean plate, or you can stir it into food. The format dramatically improves compliance — most pets actively enjoy it, which means you don't have to chase them with a tablet.

Follow the per-weight feeding chart:

  • 1 – 3 kg pets: 1 sachet per day
  • 3 – 6 kg pets: 2 sachets per day
  • 6 – 10 kg pets: 3 sachets per day
  • Over 10 kg pets: 4 sachets per day

One Pawsitivet box (18 sachets) lasts a small pet roughly two and a half weeks, or a medium-large dog about a week.

Yes. Both Comfort and Nurture formulations are designed for cats and dogs aged 2 months and older. No ingredient in either formula is contraindicated for either species.

Yes — they're designed to complement each other. A common pattern is Nurture in the morning (for daily immune support) and Comfort in the evening, or before any known stressor (vet visit, grooming, fireworks, storm season). When using both, treat each formula's per-weight serving independently.

For Comfort, calming actives like L-theanine and chamomile can show effect within 30–60 minutes of a single dose — useful for situational anxiety. Cardiac and B-vitamin benefits accrue with regular use over 2–4 weeks. For Nurture, immune-modulating ingredients (shiitake, beta-glucan, astaxanthin) work cumulatively; allow 4–6 weeks of consistent use for noticeable wellness changes.

Ingredients & safety

No. L-theanine produces a calm-but-alert state by modulating brain alpha-wave activity. It does not sedate. Your pet will still be themselves — they just won't be quite so reactive to whatever was stressing them out.

Likely yes, with regular use. Pawsitivet Nurture contains 100 mg of inulin per sachet — a soluble prebiotic fibre that supports gut motility and stool quality. The omega-3 fraction also contributes to coat condition, which reduces shedding and the volume of fur being ingested in the first place. For cats with severe or compacted hairball issues please consult your vet; supplements are an adjunct, not an acute treatment.

Pawsitivet is suitable for pets 2 months and older. For younger pets, please consult your vet — early-life nutrition is more sensitive and your vet can advise on what (if anything) is appropriate at their developmental stage.

Pawsitivet is a supplemental food, not a medicine — but supplements can still interact with prescription drugs. If your pet is on cardiac medication, sedatives, immunosuppressants, anticoagulants, or any therapeutic-dose vitamin protocol, please clear adding Pawsitivet with your vet first.

No. Real food bases (salmon for Comfort, tuna for Nurture), natural thickeners (modified tapioca starch), and standardised botanical extracts. No artificial colours, flavours or parabens.
